 ClearImage works well for Robotics. Well, i downloaded the demo version and it worked really well. People at ClearImage have done quite some work.I wanted an SDK for a robotics competition that required image processing.Umm... i guess i can't buy this SDK as i am a student, but i would definitely recommend it to robotics enthusiasts (students and professionals alike).

Bmp to cnc - it also does jpgs! Has nice step over info, stock to leave etc. Major distractor: not being able to save and actually cut is a major limitation. There are other programs that will let you do this but limit the lines of gcode generated - but at least you can test/cut/simulate to evaluate. rates a solid 6-7/10 for ease of set up and use. But I can't prove it's results. Can't run a sI'm (other than the built in) or cut something. It has a a good feature - machining time - can't validate it, but it is still a good feature. ...
